To follow the thread here...One of my favorite mac websites is 
www.AppleTurns.com.
Today, the humor turned toward the animal pattern of the Roman numeral X 
for Jaguar and the author of the site mused that knowing Apple, once 
they go down that road (of design mania), can a zebra-striped FP iMac be 
far behind?
I too miss the audacity of Apple's use of color. This from someone who 
just bought a Key Lime iBook to sit next to his Flower Power iMac :)
But really, the 17" imac is really hard to resist. I wonder if they'll 
slowly move toward color for them once the design and features aren't as 
fresh anymore. I hope so.
