Yo John,

In IE 5.2.1, in preferences, under "Web Browser" is "Java." When Javaa
is chosen there are four choices: 1. Enable Java; 2. Log Java Output;
3. Alert on exception; 4. Log Java exceptions.

I've checked all 4.

Below these, in the same pane, are "Security Options" (3 of them):

I. "Byte-code verification" with the following options: a. Don't Check
Code; b. Check remote code; c. Check all code

I've chosen a: "don't check code"

II. Under this is "Network access" with 3 options: a. no network
access; b. Applet host access; c. Unrestricted access.

Here, I've chosen: "unrestricted access"

III. Last in this pane is "Restrict access to non-Java class files"
which I have not selected (no check)

These are the only Java settings I find in preferences.

thanks,

Dale G.
