I see no reason to ban an AOL user. I'm using AOL for Mac X v10.3 and obviously it's posting to this list (which does not allow HTML postings.) AOL can read plain text emails. And it can send in plain text (from Mac version for X) by going to www.aol.com and sending the mail from there.
Oh. I had the impression that AOL users could NOT send plain text E-mails period. If there's a way to bypass this "feature," however, that's a whole new ball game.

If you don't want people posting HTML to your email lists, set the lists not to accept it.
I don't think Yahoo! Groups is that powerful yet. If that feature becomes available, however, I'll certainly put it to use.
