I got an set of original iMac install disks. Thanks, Jim. However, the iMac
won't start up from any of the disks when holding down the C key during boot
up.

I got the system folder from the original software install disk and copied
the folder to the iMac through a network connection. I am planning to rename
the old system folder OLDSystem and put the finder in a folder named
OldFinder. Then I was going to start up the computer from the new system
folder I copied over. Does anyone have any suggestions about starting up
this recalcitrant iMac with this method of changing systems?
