AppleWorks 6 does do Word documents, and I also have MacLinkPlus Deluxe, for those times when someone sends me a Word document. Translates well!AppleWorks 6 is _supposed_ to translate Word documents, but mine usually fails on Word docs from PC users.

I too find that AppleWorks 6 does not open Word documents from Windows machines. Am I missing something? I don't own MacLinkPlus Deluxe but have used previous MacLink Plus programs with success (except for graphics, but that's normal).
