I posted a question regarding a imac 400 dv freezing after 20 minutes and restarts get the sad face/north/south america map.
This is my dad's imac and he forgot to tell me he also hears arcing sounds when he goes to start up again. Does anyone know what part might be the first suspect in this model or is this problem mainly due to dust accumulation as I have read about?
