Everyone has different needs, but as typical family
point-and-shooters we could not be any happier with
our Fuji A210. It has 3.1 megapixels and, important
for snapshooters, a respectably powerful and fully
controllable built-in flash that will fill in shadows
under hat brims in daylight. We print very nice 4x6
prints. (Have not tried larger sizes.)
But the best part of all is the unbelievably great
docking station/rechargeable battery setup. I had
always dismissed such accessories as pricey nonsense
but I sprang for this one because I thought it might
keep the wife and kids from losing the camera
entirely. Well, it was the greatest bad idea I ever
had. We have never been able to drain the battery!!
It just keeps on going. And there are no cables to
plug in during daily use - just pop the camera into
the cradle and download the snaps directly into
iPhoto.
Cost was around $150 for the camera and $60 for the
dock/battery. Can be had cheaper now. Hope this
opinion helps!
