Yes, they do, if you also purchase AppleCare. The disk contains
Tech Tool Deluxe.

That's *a* hardware test, but not *the* Hardware Test - I just
discovered that's a different animal, after not finding ours, then
taking our iMac G5 to the Apple Store where they used Apple
Hardware Test and it turned up the problem (which our Tech Tool
Deluxe didn't).
Duh! I'd had it all the time! It's on the same disk as additional
software - labeled "iMac G5 Additional Software & Apple Hardware
Test."
(It's not on its own, separately-labeled disk like with the older
iMacs.)

Ditto duh for me. I forgot it was there too. It's on Mac OS X Install
Disc 1. Print out and read "Apple Hardware Test Read Me," then reboot
while holding down the Option key to get to the test. Only used it
once and forgot about it lurking on that disc. That's my story and
I'm stickin' to it.
