1. Remove the domain from the old server and set it up for 'Store and
Forward'. This will cause that machine to hold the messages (if the new is
offline) and pass on to the new IP/server.
2. No, I would not recommend this. Move the users mailbox files (the
directories below \imail) to the new machine (as recommended in KB articles)
and 1. above will send new mail to the new server.
