There are tools available that will export them with passwords. I didn't look it up but it's mentioned in the mailing list archives many times. First you need to undo what got hosed by importing the registry key (maybe delete the domain and recreate, I don't know). Then you use the tool to export the users, reformat the file for use with adduser and run it to add the users. Copy over their directories and you should be good to go.
