As far as I know, the rules.ima file has to be copied into each maildomain's
directory (e.g. d:\imail\virtual001 by default). There's a knowledgabase
article on how to copy the "master" rules.ima file to all other maildomain's
directory:

My knowledge with imail lists is limited, I use a specialized listserver
product.

I'll ask them to stop and restart the SMTP service.
Do you know if placing the rules.ima file in the directory for the mail list
will apply the rules to just THAT mail list? The IMail documention is not
very clear about rules for mail lists.
