The setting is causing a problem, and when I wasn't the moderator, I
received a message that I wasn't the moderator. As it should do. But
after fixing that, it still didn't send.

No bounce messages are coming back. But I'm not sure what the SMTP
setting would have to do with it. The messages are sent to local
users. It seems to me that if that setting was cauing the problem, it
would affect all users, not just the off campus users...
And, I'm using the same account to send this message that was used
during the testing of the list, and it's not a "null sender".

I'm sorry to assume that it is a bug, but, all I know is all I know,
which is, everything works on the other two settings, and the
moderated list only sends the messages to "local" (rc.edu domain)
users. Since the difference in the type of list should not cause
this, as you've also stated, I had but one choice, and that is that
there is a bug in the program. With everything else being the same,
and myself being the moderator/owner, all users should get any message
I send to the list, but they don't when the list is a moderated list.
If you would like for me to email you directly, I can outline all of
the steps I took to figure out what I have so far. Trust me, when
this was first brought to my attention, I didn't believe it either.
And it wasn't until I went through a lot of testing before I came to
the conclusion that it must be a bug.
