We're running Imail 6.03, primarily to host a couple of moderated lists. This weekend someone managed to bypass the moderator and send email to everyone on one of the lists (with a reply-to address that isn't even a subscriber to the list). Aside from the fact that I have the list set to only allow the moderator to post, I also have the mail server locked down to only relay for our subnet addresses. So how could someone send mail to all of the members of a list from an external (actually faked) IP address and bypass the moderator? Thanks, Mike Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
