We're running Imail 6.03, primarily to host a couple of moderated lists. 
This weekend someone managed to bypass the moderator and send email to 
everyone on one of the lists (with a reply-to address that isn't even a 
subscriber to the list).

Aside from the fact that I have the list set to only allow the moderator to 
post, I also have the mail server locked down to only relay for our subnet 
addresses.

So how could someone send mail to all of the members of a list from an 
external (actually faked) IP address and bypass the moderator?
