Andrew,
Guess I was not too clear, but I figured out that it was a forward to
another server. Is the Postmaster error message from the IMail server or
from one of the other server? I think it is IMail as the email address
matches that used as the OHN. So, IMail does have a domain named
'email.cshore.com' and I expect that is where at least some users are. I
cannot say that I know all the reasons, but it is possible IMail can
'expand' the hostname portion to match its primary OHN and attempt delivery
to that. Since the account does not exist there (and other places/domain
within IMail, it may have tried), it sends the bounce message.
Did you try my suggestion about the HOSTS file? What is in this computers
HOSTS file?
Has the machine been restarted recently? If no, how about trying that (just
to see what happens, with the forward in place and if the HOSTS file change
has no effect, of course)?
Happy Holidays!
Daniel Donnelly
