It maybe possible that the reply was went with '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'
and that allowed the user to send to all the members. I have seen something
like this but don't know what or why it happens.

By the same token, a moderators email address must be an _exact_ match to
that found in the List settings (Owner field, must be a complete address!)
or IMail will not accept that email as being from the moderator (unless it
matches above paragraph).

The only time I have seen problems with multiple addresses in the List, is
when the user.lst contain 'spaces' or other characters, that should not be
in the file. If only imailsrv (the list server program) makes changes to the
file, there should be no problems, but if you or another program are editing
it, then it is possible for errors to occur.

Once you have it working again, you might want to consider the 'Password'
setting in that List. This can limit or otherwise reroute email sent by
those who do not know the password. If you need multiple moderators, the
'Posters.lst' can help, too.

Subject: [IMail Forum] List Servers

> We recently had some problems with the list server. One of our clients
sent out an email and one of the recipients was able to accidently resend to
the entire list. The list was set for only the moderator to be allowed to
post. We realized that we hadn't put added the last two patches and did so.
However, since that time (Friday) we have had several clients who can not
send to the list at all. Set to 'Only moderator can post' and they are the
moderator. We created test lists and can send out. It's starting to look
as if their are more than a few names on the list it is not working. Anyone
have any suggestions or experiencing similar problems?
