I�m sure it�s something at Ipswitch.
I installed an IMGate this week for an Imail user who had a client with a
mailing list of 30K users.
With IMail dribbling out the list messages in fixed clumps of 5 msgs/SMTP
session to IMGate, IMgate was still able to send 16K msgs in 30
minutes. 200 SMTP sessions sending the mail queue.
I offered an IMGate install to Ipswitch a while back, but there was no reply.
The turnaround in this list should be 10�s of seconds, maybe a couple
minute, not hours.
