>Very good question Scott. I run web messaging on the standard ports 80 >and 443. I force all web messaging users into SSL mode by hard coding the >full https:// URL into the submit action on the login page. I called one >user today that is experiencing this issue. I had him drop back into >regular mode once he was logged in. Delete and reply worked fine in >regular mode. When he went back into secure mode, no reply or delete. >I'll make a few more calls on Monday and see if this is the case for most >people with this issue. So maybe this is a bug with Imail SSL?
I saw something similar happen before, where there were issues like this using SSL with web messaging. I never found out what the problem was, but was able to work around it by using stunnel ( http://www.stunnel.org ), an "SSL tunneling" program that will take care of the SSL so that IMail doesn't have to. It might be worth looking into. -Scott --- Declude: Anti-virus, Anti-spam and Anti-hijacking solutions for IMail. http://www.declude.com --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
