If I connect to webmail on the IMail server, it is still slow.
The only Web users are ME, internally, to see what is in the spam folder!
On occasion (very occasionally) I will connect over VPN and browse. (28.8 connection) This used to be easy in v6 - (less so in v7) but now is almost impossible, professional paint drying watchers have been known to collapse with boredom!
The box could serve mail to a small town without breaking into a sweat, serving one web page to me should be no problem!
I now use terminal services to log onto the box remotely and read mail that way - not ideal.
Could you be a little more specific.. what server hardware/configuration is it running on? Any other server services running in conjunction with IMail.. what is your internet bandwidth (at the server). Is it a client concern or is the server actually running slow?
