Roger, I can't agree with you more. Our webmail works well but it is nowhere near as snappy as the prior versions.
It is NOT the machine, NOT the templates, NOT the disk system, NOT the NIC, and NOT the CPU load, etc... It IS the webmail program. There is absolutely NO reason to read through EVERY folder upon login. The only folder that should be processed is the Inbox (Main) folder by default. If I want to know about one of my other folders, I'll click on it. BTW - whether you indicate in the prefs to count new messages in all folders or inbox only, makes no difference in the speed. This topic has come up many times no resolution. Hopefully we can get some comment from Ipswitch?
