Have a customer who all of a sudden today is getting mail back from a
particular company. (potlatchcorp.com)

In the logs, my server connects... and then nothing for about three minutes,
when it comes back and says that my client's email "can not resolve." Then
it trys again and still nothing.

What is their server asking mine to provide? Can I provide this information
or is this on their end.

06:10 08:27 SMTP-(00000075) 451 4.1.8 Domain of sender address
[EMAIL PROTECTED] does not resolve

This is a known bug with some Unix MTA. You can safely ignore it. It was supposed to indicate an actual issue of some sort (such as a missing MX/A record for the domain of the sender), but it be broke. Any time you see that specific message, you're innocent until proven guilty.
