But that's my point.

We do not give a safe haven as you describe it.
We do not tolerate it but we do not control it.

If they have a domain that they are hosting here, spam somewhere else and use one of their accounts here as admin contact for the domain we have no clue that they do and we cant stop them from doing so.

If we terminate them as customers it will not change anything, the record is still the same email address unless they change it and we can't control that part.

I find that unreasonable that we are being held responsible for something out of our control without any warning even.

I guess the moral of the story is that if you give safe haven to terrorists
(spammers), you run the risk of being blacklisted. I guess you have a
choice to make.

Jason

I find this to be a little crazy.

We just got blacklisted by SBL because the email address for the admin
contact for a spammer is hosted here.

The domain is not hosted here,
They are not using our dns servers.
They are not using our mail server.
They are not using our network.
No spam came from here.

The only connection to us is that the admin email is hosted here.

We have no control over this but yet we got black listed.
Even if we terminate them as a client and they do not move their domain
somewhere else we will still be punished for something we have no control
over.

I find this to be a little bit overzealous.

Comments please..
