Mike,

I'm not sure if you are referring to me, but I never said anything about 1%
false positives. That would be unacceptable. There is a huge difference
between 1% and .1% or (much) less, which is what I described. In actual use,
it is more like something between .01% and .001%. The one in less than ten
thousand users whose legitimate e-mail has their message rejected will be
notified of the failure and can be whitelisted, or make contact via another
medium.

I would never accept a false positive rate of 1%. That is ridiculously high.
With rejection, no mail is really even being "lost" though. It never goes
into a "black hole", as with deletion.
