Hi all: Is there any way to prevent spammers from forging an email address?
I do not understand how this is even done? Does not there have to be spam
software on the forged/host computer to do this? I have antivirus software
running, do I have a virus on my server computer?
Recently I received a letter from [EMAIL PROTECTED] I do not have such an
email and never have. The letter was very alarming and read as follows. I am
a one man operation, and certainly know I did not send such a message. What
concerns me, is that my customers may receive such messages, thinking they
are from me.

I have blocked the email address of [EMAIL PROTECTED] in TF, but what is
to prevent spammers from using some other valid sounding email account
forged with my domain name?

I run a firewall and antivirus software. I presume I do not have a virus
on my system, but... who really knows for sure.
Thankyou for your attention.

Very respectfully, your obedient servant.
