Thanks for the offer, Don , but I've sorted it. The ims.ctl file just
said: [AutoReply] RecordReplies=Yes I had left the [Delivery] section out of the ims.ctl file so, of course, I got all the messages! Also, I can't spel !!! I had called the file "autoreply.txt" instead of "autorply.txt". So the record replies didn't work either! What is interesting is that it appears that you only need the ims.ctl file if you want to record replies or discard the messages. Just having an autorply.txt file (correctly named!) in a mailbox is sufficient to send the reply. Ims.ctl is still needed for autoforwarding. David Don DeCosta wrote:
