I'm not sure what kind of "AFS capable" server you have, but I just found someone selling a 50 GB SCSI disk for $859. That's not as good of a price you could get for an equivalantly-sized EIDE disk, but it's certainly not $2,500/GB. If you have some kind of really expensive media on your AFS servers ... I don't really see how that's AFS's fault. --Ken
