You never lose setting on an upgrade (you can
upgrade from any iMS version to 2.1a seemlessly). As a matter of fact, one
of our clients upgraded a 1.3 server to 2.1a with no problems. The manual
addendum lists the new features for this version. This addendum is
installed with the servers but if you need it prior to installation then I can
send you the addendum off-list.
