If your server is not authenticating a user then you need to troubleshoot the smtpauth
template. If you are relaying
when you should not be then you need to troubleshoot the rctp template. General
troubleshooting includes:
1) add a line that says option=debug to your template. This will cause the server to
print the output from your
template to the log file.
2) Use inLog to log debug information to the log file. For example:
<inlog text="user name = #authuser#">
3) Add the word debug to your ColdFusion queries to see the output in your log when
you set option=debug.
