This gets stranger. I did the same Eudora settings as you describe
below. This time with the RELAY server setting set to OFF (if on, the
RELAY server would relay mail from the server Eudora is on). The result is
the same. The message was sent from my remote server thru my iMS server.
Her's the log:

This must mean my iMS server is an open relay!
I get the same result with FM1 out of the box, even with bogus username and
password.
What the heck is going on here?
