I'm having a similar problem (I think). I think I have managed to install sxce_b117 but after the auto reboot I just get a grub prompt. I am very new to this so have no idea if a) I have done something wrong or b) this is correct and I just don't know what to do next.
I have managed to install 2008.11 and 2009.06 successfully on the same machine so I guess this should be fine. I have also burned two different DVDs and done the usual checksum on the download to make sure they are fine. Is there a step-by-step installation guide out there that anyone knows about or would it be possible to upgrade a 2009.06 installation? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
