I was afraid there would be no upgrade path.  When I first started with 
SXCE I remember it stated.  Looks like I'll just save my .gnome*, 
.gconfd, .gconf directories to a memory stick.  Going from Gnome 2.26 to 
2.26 shouldn't hopefully cause any problems.  Then I'll go over the list 
of installed software and compare for re-installment.  It wouldn't hurt 
if someone designed a script for help (saving desktop entries and 
numerous config files changed, similar to an upgrade).

For Opensolaris installs, have they added an option for compression?
