Hmm, I didn't even get to install it. Did you do an upgrade from an existing OpenSolaris? My grub prompt was immediately on booting from the CD, I don't even get to the text based installation menus.
I know you can update 2009.06 by connecting to the developer repository, but I've no idea what version this will get you to, nor what upgrades are included. From the download page it appears that all you need to do is: user at opensolaris:~$ pfexec pkg set-authority -O http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev/ opensolaris.org -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
