Is this a known problem with 117, or something specific to my machine? Previously I've always been able to boot from the sxce ISO and install OpenSolaris.
I'm now trying to install sxce_117 on a Sun x2200 (via the ELOM Remote Console as this machine has no physical DVD drive). It starts to boot from the DVD, but rather than begin the installation, drops me to a grub prompt. Other ISO files, such as OpenSolaris 2008.11 and sxce_114 boot fine. Is there any other way to get to 117? Could I install an earlier version of sxce and upgrade? Is there any upgrade path from either sxce_114 or OpenSolaris 2009.06? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
