I think anyone suggesting Redmine is trolling this list.

The question was about forum software and Redmine has no specific forum 
support.  And if you wanted a dev tracker tool, which Redmine is, Phabricator 
is obviously superior and more modern than Redmine which is just a Trac clone.  
Phabricator is opinionated about process, which is a barrier for those who 
prefer existing processes.  But neither really address what this thread is 
about.
