This adds an extra layer of file management that it would be nice to avoid. I don't think that Apple is intending for iCloud to be used for huge media files. Every piece of text I have ever written could be synced easily. Every photo I've taken, not so much - 250GB+. Documents without video or photos should be everywhere easily. Whether there are any iOS apps that will handle letting you look through 100+ documents, I'm less sure of. I think the iOS file selector dialogs will be the limiting factors for most people before the size of the documents.
