I agree, but we're going to have to be able to do something like this anyway.  
I don't want every app or every song push'ed to all our devices (and as I 
mentioned, they just won't fit in some cases). Or at least, give me the chance 
to delete off a device without removing from all the rest.

I would like us to be able to selectively receive pushed content from up to 
five (preferably ten) different accounts.  So we can receive and use address 
book lists, calendars, apps, songs, documents from family members, or delete 
them or not even receive them if we wish.  

Perhaps this could be a feature of a family account?  

I don't think it is enough to have one account shared by all of us because we 
would like each family member to have their own iTunes account so they can have 
their own account balance, receive their own gift certificates, make their own 
purchases etc. 

Perhaps we will still be able to sync multiple accounts but only push one (at 
least for now)?
