I would assume so, depending on the type of file. If it is something you 
purchased from Apple then no, there is (as far as I can tell) no way to get rid 
of it permanently.

And yes, this *is* a real issue. there’s a lot of things I’ve “purchased" from 
the App Store that I would very much like to remove permanently.
