ps: I've also kickboxed for 7 years, played hockey for 6, run, swum and played 
tennis. Some of these are aerobic, and some are anaerobic. Fencing is anaerobic 
(as I am sure you are aware), but like any sport, it helps your performance to 
do aerobic activity to increase your fitness and complement it. I just like my 
fencing training to be purely anaerobic, as I believe I get my aerobic fitness 
elsewhere. (such as circuits and 90 second sparring bouts in lau 
gar/kickboxing). I acknowledge not everyone does though!
