Catherine I am terrified of fencing you Yeh the idea of a female only session
might help but how would we do it? Looking at it from UCD's perspective i don't
know if we could get any more training times as we have three sessions a week
as it is. Would it be possible to either leave one piste for women only or
to get the ladies to fence whilst the guys are doing
footwork/bladework/something else? I suppose for us (UCD) the best time to
try a females only session would be at the start of the year when we have alot
of girls around, maybe more would stay on. I would think that there has to
be some social side to training but a bunch of people sitting around looking at
photos or just talking is not what training is there for. It is distracting for
the other people. If you equate competitiveness with agression then maybe you
are not the same as the guys but I don't see why else girls can't be as
competitive. It doesn't just mean being agressive and loud.
