Thanks so much for bringing this topic back to life! I have to say, *all*
three of the logos are so well thought out and appropriate.
As a parisian and a gardener the pigeon resonates the most with me :D Also,
the origami-style also suggests tangram-style, as if the "whole picture" could
be made of basic building blocks.
However, also in my opinion, the airplane logo with the blobby tail or
pixelated tail is such a good representation for the project, I'd probably end
up voting for one of those! The style goes so well with many of the other ASF
project icons and the simple elegant style would probably be a bit more
flexible in product UIs that refer to Avro files or data.
I really have little opinion on the colour, but I think the bright blue is just
a nice vibrant choice!
