Actually the code is now bailing when it fails, so if it's from that, would
fail either way at registering the pci device, so probably not the same

I'm running a P4 with SMT enabled (poor man's SMP) and have had oopses on
0.3.6g (which is the latest one I've tried). Also I haven't had a picture
or sound since the 0.3.2X series (I'm in PAL/BG land and haven't had time
to play with it though). I would be interested in investigating the SMP
issues but I really don't know where to begin looking. Are there any
values which are written to the cards and read back again?
