This is probably the wrong place for this particular question but I'll ask anyway - what is a recommended tuner+hardware_encoder card, and possibly hardware_decode and tv_out too, that pretty much 'works'.
I have a Myth box with two PVR-350's and as hard as this is to believe both cards went bad around the same time with the same problem (I posted about this about 6 months ago, but the cards are definitely bad). I was very happy with the cards prior to this. I don't really need two tuners, it was by accident that I ended up with two. When I put the box together a few years ago it took literally about 3 weeks to get all the pieces working. When my hard drive failed some time ago I re-installed with KnoppMyth and, WOW, what a pleasant experience - the pvr350 was fully supported and the thing just worked - until the pvr350's decided to go south. I wanted to put the myth box out of the living room where I can tolerate a larger case and more fans and decided to buy a MediaMVP to use as the myth frontend. This has turned out to be another bleeding edge adventure and probably not gonna work out for me. So that's why I still probably need tvout, although I could use one of my bum pvr350's since the tvout still works fine. I liked by the turnkey ease of KnoppMyth and the MediaMVP has worn me down again - I don't want any more battles. Can anyone recommend a card that pretty much 'just works'.
