I liked by the turnkey ease of KnoppMyth and the MediaMVP has worn me
down again - I don't want any more battles. Can anyone recommend a
card that pretty much 'just works'. Is a new PVR-350 the way to go, or
will that mean the bleeding edge driver?

What kind of issues/problems are you having with your mvpmc? I have
this exact setup, because my wife absolutely does not want a computer in
the living room. So, I needed a nice unobtrusive FE, and the MVPMC
works fine for that. Now, I only use it with mythtv, and I mostly only
watch recordings, so it's been pretty workable. Been using it for over
a year now.
