I started JAL one week ago and found everything to use it in the
jallib package.
I think a large community is better than a nice website and funlw65
gave me the minimum to start with JAL ( IDE and compiler version ).
Maybe a website could be a show room of JAL projects but the use of a
new set of tools is always hard and it is necessary to learn the
langage. JALLIB is an easy to read library and well documented in the
source. A web site could be a lost of time for system programmers and
the "take it or leave it" of rob is my opinion.
I plan to write a paper on JAL in Linux magazine, for me it is a very
good alternative to C programing.
