Do you get the 32bit depthbuffer failed and the cube  is spinning ?
I guess there is another exception raising from elsewhere after the canvas3D
creation. But I was not expection for  Exceptions raising in the another
places...
If you could test the attached code, with exception tracing,  we can
discover what is happening.

Up to now I note some cards do not offer real 32bit depthBuffer, but seens
your ATI does it, ( or cheat it, must check the console output pixfmt
value ).
