Correct. At the simplest, it comes down to multi-threaded rendering -
assigning various stages of the pipeline to different threads/CPUs
and/or pipes and then trying to keep them all together for stereo
rendering (ie six walls of a CAVE all swapping buffers at the same time
to sync with glasses). That's the big difference here. Dave et al are
writing games for PC platforms, so they've optimised the code for that.
We're working on a completely different spectrum of applications.
