I thought xith sat on top of jogl. So if jogl has limitations, so will
xith. No?

Yup, there was much the same posted on javagaming about the same time, and
what
has been said since?, nothing, not a sound. It's one thing to refer to some
piece of news that is 2 months old, but the point is nothing has happened,
and
we can either sit and wait with no news from sun for ever, or start working
out
alternatives. Xith seems quite a good one right now for some applications,
and
it's mostly java3d compatible, so if sun finally announce something other
than
it's death, we might be able to go back, of course, by then xith could have
gained the advantage from the extra months of dev time it's getting now.

Just my thoughts.
