What do you mean, "no one wants to"?  I just got a new browser two weeks 
ago!  Somebody did it.

Also, isn't Java gaining a WebKit wrapper/derivative HTML 
parser/renderer thingy?  I'm sure I've heard it mentioned in the podcast 
in the past few months.
