If relocation is not included , that can be a huge tax on the employee. It is very expensive to relocate, especially out of the country. Just relocating across the US can cost from $12k to $25k depending on family size, items, distance, etc. Then there are the flights to look for a home, hotel stays, etc. It all adds up very quickly. If a company is really interested in you, they will offer these things. On the flip side, you should be committed to staying with the company as they are paying a lot to bring you on board.
