Yeah this is probably getting unnessisarily heated.  My appologies if
anyone is offended. But I will sumerise:

I know what your point is but I'm suggesting it's never that simple in
reality.

Just as an example: what if they were going from one server to another
and the cut over didn't work. Due to someones incompetence perhaps.
You are saying you are 100% sure having the site totally down was
their intent or they were happy to let that happen. I'm saying we just
don't know that.

And I shall leave it at that.
