I'm not taking this little tangent too seriously, but it does seem that these which-tech-is-superior discussions inevitably seem to gravitate to an eventual statement about which company makes more money. This is the part I don't get. What does market capitalization and how good a company is doing overall have to do with merits of a technology or how good a deal it might be to consumers?
